The Grid Code<\/strong> was issued in 2016. The document corresponds to the general administrative provisions that establish the criteria<\/strong> for efficiency, quality, reliability, continuity, safety and sustainability of the National Electric System (SEN<\/strong>).<\/p>

They are part of the Electricity Industry Law<\/strong> (LIE) and are issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE<\/strong>). The CRE is in charge of inspecting SEN users to verify compliance with the code. They apply to transporters, distributors, generators, marketers, suppliers, power plants, load centers and the National Energy Control Center<\/strong> (CENACE).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Estas disposiciones sirven para establecer los requerimientos t\u00e9cnicos m\u00ednimos<\/strong> para procesos de la infraestructura el\u00e9ctrica ya sea operativo, planeaci\u00f3n, medici\u00f3n, control y uso. Con ellos se plantean los est\u00e1ndares de operaci\u00f3n<\/strong> necesarios para suministrar energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica a los usuarios y abastecer su consumo el\u00e9ctrico<\/strong>.<\/p>

These provisions serve to establish the minimum technical requirements<\/strong> for electrical infrastructure processes, whether operational, planning, metering, control and use. They establish the operating standards<\/strong> necessary to supply electric power to users and supply their electricity consumption<\/strong>.<\/p>

Among the technical requirements included in the Grid Code are:
